Superfluo APP
The main interface for users, organisations, documents, roles and business rules.
DRM module · Superfluo APP
Superfluo DRM connects digital document protection, access rights and controlled distribution directly inside Superfluo APP — with Superfluo Cloud and FileOpen DRM technology.
One connected system
Documents, users, companies, roles, access rights and business processes remain connected in the same Superfluo APP environment.
The DRM module uses rights and data already available in the application, connects documents with Superfluo Cloud and adds FileOpen protection where controlled distribution is required.

Manages protection, access rights, distribution and the lifecycle of a protected document.
Connected document storage and management within the Superfluo APP ecosystem.
A specialised DRM layer integrated into the module through our partnership with FileOpen.
Controlled distribution
Usage rights are configured according to project requirements and the capabilities of the contracted FileOpen licence.
A document opens only for users whose access is permitted by the system rules.
Policies can restrict printing, copying and other actions supported by the selected DRM configuration.
Access can be tied to validity periods and other time-based restrictions.
Protected documents can use markings and watermark information linked to a user or distribution.
Document policies and status are managed through Superfluo APP instead of disconnected administration tools.
The document remains protected after download according to the rules set through the DRM system.
Technology partnership
Superfluo DRM is developed in partnership with FileOpen. FileOpen provides the specialised DRM layer, while Superfluo APP manages the user experience, business rules and connection with Superfluo Cloud.
Technology
More information about FileOpen technology and its DRM solutions is available on the official website.
fileopen.comLicensing
A separate FileOpen licence is required to use FileOpen DRM protection. It is not included with Superfluo APP or the DRM module. The licensing model, scope and pricing are defined separately according to project requirements.
Opening documents
To open PDF documents protected with FileOpen technology in Adobe Acrobat Reader, the FileOpen Client must be installed.
